About Us
In 2001, Milestone Entertainment began as a concert promotions company in Zambia and later in the United States. At the time, the company focused exclusively on promoting concert and would become the first company to produce concerts in the United States with performances by Zambian musicians, JK and Joe Chibangu. By 2006, Milestone experienced dramatic growth in products, services, and clients, moving primarily into the distribution of electronic goods and media. A number of Zambian businesses would be introduced to Milestone as clients. In September 2006, Milestone Entertainment made its first export to Zambia. This market segment continued to expand over time. In addition Milestone had experimented with smaller exports to consumer clients in Zambia wanting to purchase goods from the United States. This segment continued to grow with clothing, laptops and electronics becoming the most requested items. Out of this need for the general public in Zambia to gain access to online goods at competitive prices, Dot Com Zambia (A Milestone Company) was born.
Dot Com Zambia’s vision is to become a market leader in the exports of U.S. consumer goods to Zambia ranging from entertainment media to hardware to clothing. Our clients enjoy the following shopping experience:
More Choice:
The internet gives our clients an unlimited amount of merchandize to select from and purchase. Furthermore our
clients can purchase hard to find items that are not available in Zambian stores, as traditional retail store, in Zambia, can only
stock a limited amount of merchandize.
Low Prices:
Through a special agreement with delivery couriers UPS/Mercury Couriers, Dot Com Zambia is able to deliver all goods to its client, in Zambia, in 3 to 4 business days. Our clients pay a very competitive handling fee along with the low shipping fee.
